I was happy to see that the nasty bright orange graffiti (‘Xx Xx Is A Grass’) on the wall next to the road along Rodden Road/Bath Road opposite Fromefield, was no longer there this evening. I saw it yesterday morning and thought someone had better get it sorted out. It was just not very nice, for anyone living there or the named individual, whoever he is. I contacted the resident of the house behind the wall, the Police (as it referred to someone by name), Mendip District Council and their contractors The Landscape Group (TLG) who clear graffiti off public buildings, as well as Frome Town Council and other ward councillors.  TLG agreed to come out and have a go today with a steam cleaner, after finding that a cold water jet yesterday was not enough. So thank you TLG for dealing with this so quickly and effectively.
