Want to make a difference? Could you be a local councillor?

Do you want to make a difference in your community on issues you care about, help people, and stand up for residents? If you do, then being an elected Councillor could be for you.

Somerton and Frome Liberal Democrats are holding an informal session where you can find out more. Current and former councillors will talk about what different councils do, how you can make a difference representing your community, and their experiences of what being a councillor involves. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

The session is on Monday 16th April, 7pm upstairs at the Archangel, King Street, Frome. Everyone is welcome, you do not need to be a party member to attend.

The elections to District Councils in Somerset (and to Parish, Town and City councils) are in May 2019 so there is no need to decide straight away whether you want to stand for election.

No advance booking is needed, but please email AdamSomertonFrome@gmail.com or call 07809 284817 if you have any queries.

Adam Boyden and Richard Pinnock, for the Somerton & Frome Liberal Democrats
