Public consultation responses received after the first of the Frome Super-Markets on Sunday 1st July, indicate that the day was a big success – see http://www.mendip.gov.uk/NewsArticle.asp?id=SX9452-A783C471
But how was it for you? You can still have your say via the survey linked here – http://www.mendip.gov.uk/Article.asp?id=SX9452-A783BFC0&cat=91 or call the Markets team on 01749 648999.
The next two Frome Super-Markets are due to take place on Sunday, August 5th and Sunday, September 2nd.
The market expansion project is being steered by a multi-party cross-council Steering Group, which includes Conservative, Lib Dem and IFF councillors and officers from Frome Town, Mendip District and Somerset County Council, as well as a representative of the existing Frome Market stallholders, the St Catherines Artisan Market, and the Frome and District Chamber of Commerce – see earlier posts for more details.
