Through the Community Environment Fund, I was pleased recently to help fund the Packsaddle Community Group’s community party in March (and equipment to support future community events) , and (hopefully, subject to Mendip officer approval) some forest school workshops during the Frome Children’s Festival in July.

I still have funds available for projects that improve the local environment, so please contact me for further details and I will send you the forms to fill in.

Mendip Council has just announced its Local Legacy Fund of £200,000 is now available to apply for between now and August for larger community projects (to a maximum of £30,000). Please see here for details.
