Have your say on Saxonvale

Plans for the regeneration of the Saxonvale site are taking shape. You are all invited to a two-day pop in event today and tomorrow to share your views on the future redevelopment of the largest former industrial site left in Frome.

The event is at The Silk Mill, The Gallery, Merchants Barton Frome BA11 1PT, on Friday 11 January 2-7pm and Saturday 12 January 10am-3pm.

Acorn (appointed by Mendip) say they are “very mindful of the site’s history and the community’s desire to see a high quality mixed-use development happen.” Acorn will then work up development proposals in more detail, and intend to submit a planning application in spring 2019. The current high level masterplan can be seen at
