October news update

A few things you may be interested in:

Packsaddle park consultation

Frome Town Council are consulting local residents on how to spend £7500 on improving the park with new equipment or on play workers. This is happening because Frome Town Council recently took a long term lease from Mendip which protects the park and allows FTC to make improvements, in a deal I lobbied for and helped arrange (see here).

Residents of the area over 8 can vote up to 9th November online here or by returning a voting card to Frome Town Hall. To learn more join FTC for fun, games and voting in the playpark on: Thursday 25th October 3:00-5:00pm, Saturday 27th October 10:30am-12:30pm or Tuesday 30th October 2:00-4:00pm. Please see here. Somerset NHS consultation

The NHS is running a series of consultation events to explain what they think are the main reasons for a need to change and improve our health and care services in Somerset. They would like to hear what’s important to you. For more information and to complete the online survey, please see here. The event in Frome is at the Hubnub Centre, Whittox Lane, on Monday 29th October, 10am-2pm. Please see here to register or you can just turn up.
